BOB is a hybrid home of the future, a mobile living tool for tomorrows generation of nomadic wanderers. Somewhere between a tent, a house and a Winnebago, BOB explores the relationship between the basic human requirements of travel and shelter.

The simple premise for BOB is that a vans engine, gearbox and drivetrain are all located under the front seats, leaving the rest of the van for living in. Given all of BOB's technology and critical components are efficiently contained in the front quater, we have made the walls and roof dynamic by allowing them to fold down and triple the effective floorspace.

Unlike most motor homes BOB's dimensions aren't dictated by a fixed width based on car lanes. Unlike other mobile homes, BOB internal elements don't need to be lined up one after the other with a tiny circulation path running through the middle. At the end of a hard day driving BOB lays out and relaxes to create over triple his original foot print. Who said that you couldn't have open plan living in a mobile home.

How much does BOB cost? Well it depends how many metres you want, as BOB's price tag is based on the lineal metre. Sort of like a stick of timber.

Someone spotted this diamond (fake) covered Mercedes Benz SL55 at an auto show overseas. It looks shiny to say the least.I'm not sure if the diamonds are real, but either way it looks pretty outrageous.This car is so so so shiny ...imagine this car on a shiny day.

Designed by the Italian design guru Raffaele Iannello, the 'Voodoo' - or as we like to call it the 'All Men Are Bastards' knife block, is destined to find its place among the greats in the top design museums of the world. It comes complete with a set of 5 stainless steel knives: a paring knife; bread knife; carving knife and a large and small chopping knife. Each of the five knives is held in place by a small magnet in the body, and the blades are protected at the rear by a frosted plastic sleeve. Maybe some of you don't know what NFS ( Need For Speed ) is ....

"Need for Speed: Underground (NFSU) is a racing video game, developed and published by Electronic Arts in 2003. It is part of the Need for Speed series of games.

Its premise (highly tuned, customised cars participating in llegal street races) was likely inspired by the Import Scene and the movies The Fast and the Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious."

Google Earth View: King of Cars

A & E's new show King of Cars follows the day-to-day life of 30-year-old Chop, the PT Barnum of car salesman, who owns and runs one of the most successful car dealerships in the country, Tobin Dodge near Las Vegas.

Chop is pleasently plump and full of bling, but his act is perfect for the Vegas set who often visit his dealership looking to score a Hummer or a kitted out pick up truck.

Every Saturday is like Super Bowl Sunday at Chop's shop. Potential buyers come from all over the country to try and score a deal. He motivates his employees by yelling, putting firecrackers under their chairs, and by offering cold hard cash for every car sold. Guess it is working, because according to Chop they move nearly 100 cars on a big Saturday.

While this show once and for all proves used car dealers are not nearly as hate-worthy as lawyers, we are still planning on keeping our distance from Tobin Dodge. Looking at it from high above, on Google Earth, is fine with us thank you very much.

Water-Proof Keyboard
