Transparent Toaster

Transparent Toaster

This innovative “Transparent Toaster” concept uses special heating glass to warm a single slice of bread. Unfortunately, the glass does not reach a high enough temperature — at this time — to actually toast the bread. No word yet on if this concept will go into production.

Unusual Bike

Unusual Bike

A bicycle, or bike, is a pedal-driven human-powered vehicle with two wheels attached to a frame, one behind the other. First introduced in 19th-century Europe, bicycles evolved quickly into their familiar, current design. Numbering over 1,000,000,000 in the world today, bicycles provide the principal means of transportation in many regions and a popular form of recreational transport in others.

The bicycle is one of the most notable of human inventions. The basic shape and configuration of the frame, wheels, pedals, saddle and handlebars has hardly changed since the first chain-driven model was developed around 1885, although many important detail improvements have been made since, especially in recent years using modern materials and computer-aided design.

Everyone want to do something special, to get attention ...like in this pictures.

How to fry an egg on your computer

How to fry an egg on your computer

What we need first ?

Take this PC configuration for example
XP1500+ CPU
MSI K7T266 Pro-2 Raid Motherboard
720gig Hard Drives (this is a fileserv rig)
Juno P6 Case
24x Liteon CDRW
16x LG DVD
Soundblaster Platinum + Livedrive

How to test:
The tools needed are:

1 x Egg
1 x Roll of Silver Foil
1 x Brown Sauce
2 x Slices Bread
1 x Heatsink

The heatsink was important when thinking about this test, and I wanted something completely different from "The Norm".I wanted people to think "Cool, Thats er, wierd"
I think with this design I have managed that, I decided to make the heatsink out of copper coins consisting of 1p and 2p (sterling) coins.

I used the Silver Foil to make a tray

I Then clipped the Copper Heatsink onto the CPU using ThermoResin, I normally use Arctic Silver but this was just way too thin for the ridges on the coin matching the top of the CPU core.

I cracked the egg

It came out well

Now enjoy they fryed egg ... Bon Appetit

The World Most Expensive House!!

The World Most Expensive House!!

Updown Court, a newly built mansion for sale outside of London, offers plenty of lavish amenities: five swimming pools, an eight-limousine garage, and mosaic floor made of 24-karat gold leaf in the downstairs study. The property, however, is best known for its price tag: more than 85 million British pounds (+$150 million USD).

If Updown Court fetches that price, it would make the 40,000-square-foot dwelling and its property the most expensive home ever sold, according to real estate agents. The target owner, according to developer Leslie Allen-Vercoe, is a superrich international buyer looking for a second, third, or fourth home in London. "The house has been designed for a specific market, which is the billionaire market, as opposed to the millionaire market," he says.

Larger in area than both the royal residences of Hampton Court Palace or Buckingham Palace, this magnificent estate symbolises the grand and imposing presence of the Great Houses of England, yet employs state-of-the-art 21st Century technology to provide the ultimate living environment.

For it's new Adicolor series, Adidas put up blank billboards on the streets. After obviously getting sprayed with tonns of graffiti from passing youngsters, they put a new poster on top of the sprayed ones. But this one had a liniar drawing of the new shoe on it with several parts cutted out so you could see the grafitti effect on the shoe.
