The MPGlass system, as the glasses are known on the market, uses an advanced display technology, combined with precision optics. And the results are quite astounding, the producers boasting that the visual experience is similar to that you might get by watching a 30inch screen at a 2 meter distance.
The device is quite versatile, because it is compatible with a wide range of video sources, including here DVD players, VCRs, game machines, and so on, it is stereo capable and also very portable, because one can basically use it absolutely anywhere. Moreover, the more expensive version of MPGlass, namely MPG-230A,also includes a multimedia unit which can be used for reading SD cards, as the device doesn't have internal memory. This is why the MPG-230A is available at around 720 Euro, while the MPG-230M costs only 430 Euro.
Despite being a bit pricey, the MPGlass system could be quite successful in the future, especially if combined with a portable video player, and in a few years' time, it could really become a very common sight.
